Hmmm. Deliberately impairing the effectiveness of military forces and getting members of the military killed during active hostilities. Thee are some names for that.

And the kind of innoculation Washington was requiring was actually fairly dangerous by modern standards.

Just double checked timelines. Variolation was the standard until the cowpox based vaccine was developed in 1796. That means that Washington's mandate was to give soldiers smaller doses of the live smallpox virus by scratching their skin with needles that had been put in contact with active smallpox sores. It usually results in a milder smallpox infection, but not always.

WH fires everyone in government who may know what they are doing. Party hacks and donors are installed in key points of administration despite no experience. Chaos ensues on any and every level. No one could have predicted this.

I see a military tribunal in his future; hell, we could fill up a cruise ship with people that deserve a visit to the Hague.....
