While “no rule of engagement” was shocking, Trump’s “Secretary of War,” Whiskey Pete Hegseth, has openly admitted to a war crime, declaring the US will accept “no quarter “in Iran.
“No quarter” literally means refusing to take prisoners and executing everyone instead. That has been considered a war crime since the Hague Convention IV and is banned under the Geneva Conventions.
Wild thing to say out loud.
And this is *exactly* why we shluld join the ICC, first chance we get.
After all, we *all* know damn well he will get a pardon, and likely profit from his crimes.
