As he states, the cocaine was snorted with a lack of fear of germs; I believe the cocaine was on the toilet seat. I am not sure if that's the lid or the actual seat, but to take him at his most literal, it'd be the seat.
I also wondered about this, and also pictured the seat itself. My girlfriend, who had a very robust cocaine habit in her youth, assures me that of course he meant the lid - only an animal would use the seat. I'm not sure that's the slam-dunk argument she thinks it is.
