Whiskey Pete invites a white supremacist to the Pentagon
There is no longer any pretense or desire to pretend to be anything but what they are.
Trump’s white power-loving “Secretary of War” invited his white supremacist pastor to speak at the Pentagon. Doug Wilson is a guy who says slavery was just fine, women shouldn’t vote, and that Muslim and Hindu folks are parasites.
“Doug Wilson routinely mocks the pope and the Catholic Church,” the Catholic writer and Democratic operative Christopher Hale wrote on X. “It’s beyond shameful that [Hegseth] allowed him to lead taxpayer-funded anti-Catholic worship services.”
The Pentagon defended Wilson’s appearance.
“Secretary Hegseth, along with millions of Americans, is a proud Christian and was glad to welcome Pastor Wilson to the Pentagon yesterday,” spokeswoman Kingsley Wilson said in a statement.
Daily Kos also offers a quick snapshot of who Wilson is:
Wilson is a creepy hard-right preacher who runs the creepy hard-right denomination that the creepy hard-right Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth attends, so it was inevitable that he would be asked to come help obliterate the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom.
That’s an explicit, not implicit, explanation of what Wilson had to say, which we know from Wilson himself, who used his Pentagon sermon time to pray for a “black swan revival,” which is apparently evangelical-speak for foisting a narrow and vicious brand of Christianity on the nation.
You can also peep Wilson over on the Defense Department’s “Rapid Response” X account, where you’ll find other important government updates like this video of Hegseth weightlifting.

It’s not like they tried very hard to hide what they were and what they want to do before this.
