Roundup sold to consumers no longer contains glyphosate. Vinegar only kills the leaves not the roots so it's just a cosmetic fix. Pulling up the roots is the only real solution.
I use vinegar to prevent weeds growing in sidewalk cracks, and you certainly don't need a fancy vinegar in a special pump sprayer. Buy a cheap pump sprayer and some white vinegar. Spray the ground where you don't want things to grow. Bosh.

I use a Harbor Freight propane torch. It’s not more effective but it is more fun.
