Tiny Chef sings “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” and the internet’s blood pressure drops
Nothing could be more perfect than the Tiny Chef singing Mr. Rogers’ theme.
Debuting with his program in 1968, Fred Rogers wrote the song himself. The song is very intentional, and the lyrics were chosen to help children feel safe, welcomed, and seen. If only Cheffy had a cardigan and sneakers to complete the routine.
I wonder if this song means as much to kids outside the Gen X range as it does to those of us within.
Won’t you be… my neighbor?

If anyone could have lived forever, I would choose Mr. Rogers.
