This Kentucky hatter shapes cowboy dreams out of felt and steam

I have been enthralled watching the hatters at Wild Hats in Louisville, Kentucky, make beautiful hats.

Their YouTube channel is full of fantastic hats, and I have not seen them make one I did not want. While I have a number of felt fedoras and other dress hats, the only cowboy-style hat I have is a straw one. Watching their channel is the first thing that has ever made me consider visiting Kentucky.

I love their work, and at somepoint I’d love to visit their shop and have a hat made.
