“Things happened,” Trump excuses the murder of Jamal Khashoggi
ABC News’ Mary Bruce pushed Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman about corrupt business dealings and the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Trump did a horrible job of excusing his family’s cashing in on the Presidency, and lied about Khashoggi.
The video is just beyond belief. It is terrific to see Bruce hold Trump’s feet to the fire, but equally as sad to see a US President lie, slander a journalist, and make excuses for murder. This is not the first, or probably last, time Trump will try to cover for the Saudi Crown Prince having a journalist he didn’t like killed.
yeah. things happened. Like dismemberment and murder. Those sorts of things.
Of *course* he excused it. He wants to do the same thing.
