These “alien influencers” do human impressions
The very best satire comes from holding up a mirror to your intended audience and going, “Isn’t this weird?”
Who better to do that to all of humanity than a pair of aliens? Grik and Carl are sketch comedians masquerading as “alien influencers” in a schtick so elegantly simple I can’t believe no one else has thought of it before. They’ve been toiling away since March of last year, but have only recently broken into virality with their “human impressions”.
First off, hey, that’s speciesist! Second off, I’ve never felt more seen, which feels odd to say about a pair of blue aliens. The rest of their content is in a similar vein, poking fun at humans and our many idiosyncrasies — and honestly, I think they deserve the viral success for suffering through those makeup jobs alone.

"That's not reading!" Amen! I get so tired of having this argument with audiophiles. There is *nothing* wrong with listening to books and yes: some words *do* evolve over time...but "reading" should not be one of them.
