The best little police prostitution scandal in Texas
The Godley, Texas, police department is now at the center of a sprawling prostitution investigation involving former officers, a former police chief, and allegations that what was happening behind closed doors may have been far more organized than anyone wants to admit.
Despite previous convictions for prostitution, Ashley Ketcherside tells FOX 4’s David Sentendrey she is not a prostitute, and she’s never been trafficked by her husband.
“He’s a great husband, an amazing father to my three kids and I believe in the justice system,” Ashley told Sentendrey. “I’m absolutely no victim of my husband or anybody else.”
Everything from sex for landscaping services to espionage is in this confusing story about a woman convicted of prostitution, her husband, and members of the local police force, including the Chief. Frankly, after watching the video and reading the article, the only thing I know for sure is that we’re going to learn a lot more.
At this point, the only thing more predictable than the arrests is what comes next: a slow drip of details, a lot of “we had no idea,” and the dawning realization that whatever’s already come out is probably just the surface.
