Sony deleting 551 movies from own customers’ accounts
Sony unceremoniously announced that it would be deleting 551 movies from PlayStation customers’ accounts in the U.K.: no apologies, no refunds, just a cold reminder that the only thing bought was a revokable license to access “content.” The wipe is the result of Sony’s deal with movie distributor StudioCanal ending.
