There's yet another, poorly publicized, negative feature to getting measles (unnecessarily due to being stupid and anti-vax!): "Immune amnesia" [1]. the measles virus damages the immune system's "immune memory" of other deadly diseases. So now, (without a simple vaccination) you can re-get, re-endanger your life to previous diseases you had all over again @#$!
And yet Robert Kennedy Jr. remains the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Here's RFK Jr's. initial response to the West Texas measles epidemic:
Kennedy directed the CDC to update its guidance to promote the use of vitamin A, citing studies that it can reduce mortality in severely malnourished populations. However, this led to a run on supplements, with some parents over-dosing their children with cod liver oil to the point of liver toxicity. He also championed alternative, unproven treatments such as inhaled budesonide and clarithromycin.
After the second death he changed his tune completely. He posted this on X: https://x.com/SecKennedy/status/1908967854394982414. There is no mention of his previous advice to the CDC except he does mention "other medicines" to possibly cover his as*.
