At a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Jamie Raskin (D-MD) raised a question that would have sounded paranoid not long ago: whether ICE’s growing use of masks during arrests is really about officer safety, or about concealing who some of those officers are.
not remotely helpful, but... yes we presumed that much. also they're hiding that they have criminal records, unpaid child-support, dismissed from multiple police forces, gang affiliations, and possibly/ironically undocumented immigrants. many of these charmers are ICE goons because they couldn't hold any other form of employment. m'kay @#$!

What these goons would then do is raze the house first and ask questions later, if at all. "Oh there were people inside? nobody told us." "Wrong house? Not according to what we were told."
And not even the public outrage of them doing that would matter. Criminal-in-Chief would just say the house was infested and needed to be razed -- according to many people! This is where we are. A rogue agency aided and abetted by a maniac who doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself.
The problem with this tactic is that it leads to results similar to what happened in Syria. If the populace attacks in force, the government will begin using bombs. We may yet come to that but I try to hope that another solution can be found.
