One of the strangest burial stories is that of Fredric J. Baur, the food scientist who invented the Pringles can and contributed to the stacked-chip concept. When Baur died in 2008, part of him was buried in a Pringles can. He repeatedly told his family he wanted his ashes buried in a Pringles can, and they honored his request.
