The point about hotel rooms and AirBNB is one that companies like Netflix ignore at their peril. It may not seem like much, but it will mean a drop in viewing as it's no longer convenient on the road.

Ugh I hate the subscription model so much. Our "smart" devices sell us out to the corporations. The corporations move to monetize anything they notice we might be using to make our lives a teensy bit tolerable. Pay double to rent the layer of privilege that used to be yours.
This is why I travel with a dedicated "Chromecast with GoogleTV" and an HDMI extension cable.
