A regular fire is plenty dangerous and unpredictable.

A fire at sea is terrifying.

Well, that says something about the morale onboard. Perhaps more floggings are needed?

Not mentioned in the linked article is the fact that the Ford previously had issues with its toilets, with reports that some may have been clogged deliberately by sailors throwing T-shirts into them. Not a happy ship, if true.

That ship has has various issues, but *all* vessels do, at first

Making sure the heads work properly *before* deploying would seem to be a priority, but that's just me. It's a good thing **every** sailor onboard is trained in fighting fires.
