Nancy Mace accuses police of lying about her airport meltdown
After Charleston airport police released a report describing Rep. Nancy Mace’s very public meltdown at the gate, Mace spiraled as she took to Fox Business, claiming the entire thing was made up, just like her political victim complex.
Rep. Nancy Mace told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Thursday that a recently released police report detailing her October meltdown at the Charleston Airport was “fictitious.” Mace has previously claimed that security was inadequate and suggested she has been a target of political violence in the wake of right-wing podcaster Charlie Kirk’s death.
After blustering about her conservative credentials and her crusade against transgender rights, during which she once again framed herself as a potential victim of political violence, even Bartiromo appeared skeptical.
Declaring the report “fictitious,” Mace blamed the fallout on political violence, transgender people, Charlie Kirk’s death, airport security, and basically everything except her own behavior. Even host Maria Bartiromo seemed unconvinced, gently asking whether Mace’s tirade might have had anything to do with, you know, her own actions.
As always, perpetual victim Nancy Mace insists she’s the real sufferer at airports, of handshakes, people using the bathroom next to her, and now, apparently, routine law enforcement documentation. Next up: suing the flight attendant because her peanuts aren’t salty enough.
