London police launch manhunt for artist behind “I farted in yoga” graffiti
British police are reportedly expending actual investigative resources in pursuit of the mystery artist behind a bit of graffiti reading “I fart3d in yoga,” proving once again that somewhere between Banksy and bathroom-stall confessionals lies the true soul of public art.
I think the newscaster is off both in failing to judge the work by the artist’s truth, and her claim that this is beneath Banksy. When caught, one hopes the practicing yogi will be allowed to explain that this was merely a breathing exercise.
