LA’s Tesla road-rager is back, now Hawaiian-style

The man who terrorized Los Angeles drivers in a Tesla has resurfaced in Hawaii, where he has now pleaded no contest to a fresh set of road-rage charges, suggesting his time in prison didn’t teach him to stay frosty.
Nathaniel Walter Radimak, whose Los Angeles spree of roadside assaults earned him a prison sentence and national notoriety in 2023, has once again found himself in court. This time it’s Hawaii, where prosecutors say Radimak repeated the same pattern of behavior that made him infamous on the mainland. Different roads, same outcome.
When Radimak was sentenced in Los Angeles, the hope was that meaningful consequences might interrupt the cycle. Yet here we are again, watching the same violence play out with new victims, years before his five-year sentence was actually served. One is left to wonder how he convinced the system to let him out.
At a certain point, the question stops being how this keeps happening and starts being why it’s allowed to keep happening. Nathaniel Walter Radimak didn’t reinvent himself in Hawaii. He just kept driving and raging.
