a good ruling, but giving trump-town some sort of time limit for compliance is essential.

Should read:

..."removing any mention about Black History and assuaging White guilt"...

Heck, Washington even paid taxes to Virginia on his enslaved staff. Of course this was before there was an actual United States of America.

The federal government, once it was established, was so cool with slavery at the time that they didn't require taxes or tariffs on importing enslaved people.
