“Jmail:” A Gmail clone that lets you browse Epstein’s real emails
Have you ever wanted to feel more like Jeffrey Epstein? For your own sake, I hope you said ‘f*** no’.
That said, though, I haven’t been able to stop scrolling through Jmail out of abject horror. If you’ve had even a pinky on the pulse of American politics, you’ve doubtlessly seen a few of the many thousands of Epstein’s emails that were recently released by Congress (with anything directly incriminating for Epstein’s best buddy redacted or cut, of course).
Reading these emails in a vacuum, as black letters on white paper, are sickening enough. Exploring a meticulous recreation of Jeffrey Epstein’s inbox as it actually may have appeared, however, is even more so. Going seamlessly from a Quora Digest update to a frank conversation with Ghislaine Maxwell about how best to discredit each new wave of allegations makes it all feel a little too real for my liking.
Coming away from Jmail, I’m left with a profound sense of unease — and, perhaps, incredulity at how everyone named in these hasn’t been arrested yet. If you’re at all interested in the case, it’s more than worth a read for as long as you can take it.
