Nothing says big tent like three kinds of siege mentality.
Sycophant JD Vance took the stage in New York and managed to cram “anti-Semitic,” “anti-Christian,” and “anti-white” into one sentence, like a man speed-running the Republican grievance menu.
“They’ve become anti-Semitic in the Democratic Party,” Vance said. “They’ve become anti-Christian in the Democratic Party. They’ve become anti-white in the Democratic Party.” The line is doing a lot of work: flattening real antisemitism into campaign goo, dressing Christian nationalism up as victimhood, and finishing with the old “anti-white” panic that has powered right-wing politics since long before a teleprompter existed for Republicans to read it from.
The dog whistles have become a brass section.
