Attempting to be funny, JD Vance was once again awkward. Also, the target of his derision slapped back so hard that Just Dance Vance may not know what day it is.
Vance attempted to make a joke, somehow comparing his own intelligence to a Congressperson who paused to think before answering a question. Because thinking isn’t smart, I guess. AOC smashed him with a simple retort: “The only thing longer than my pause to think was their silence to his joke.”

I had always figured that Vance and his, um, patrons took that "a heartbeat away from the presidency" line quite seriously.
