Parents are furious as a Minnesota elementary school was forced to issue a warning that ICE’s offer of “food support” is merely entrapment.
When public schools are forced to issue warnings not trust the Federal government “for your safety,” things have clearly gotten very bad. The warning, however, is a legitimate response when a federal agency has demonstrated a willingness to use any pretext to meet a cruelty-based deportation quota.
On Thursday, Anne Sullivan STEAM School in Minneapolis sent out a dark warning to parents and faculty as President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown leads to fierce backlash and escalating protests.
“Hello Sullivan Families, we have learned that ICE is sending out flyers offering food support to families. For your safety, do not respond to these offers. If your family is in need of support, please contact the school and we will connect you with one of our School Social Workers,” the message said.

I hope outdoor soup kitchens & free food pantries are already thinking about ways to deliver safely to vulnerable people who fear leaving the house.
