A family argument about Donald Trump ended with a British woman dead on a bathroom floor in Texas, after her father told her it “would not upset him that much” if she were sexually assaulted because he had “two other daughters,” then followed her upstairs with a gun that discharged in his hands.
Littler told the inquest that Lucy Harrison had asked her father on the day of the argument: “How would you feel if I was the girl in that situation and I’d been sexually assaulted?”
“Kris Harrison had replied that he had two other daughters who lived with him, so it would not upset him that much,” the BBC reported.
Lucy Harrison ran upstairs because her father’s remark made her “quite upset,” Littler said.

No charges were filed, and the shooting was treated as a tragic accident. A father who said he brought a firearm upstairs to show his daughter, admittedly having drunk a half-liter of wine, now gets to live with the outcome of that decision, while she does not.
Whenever I get involved in a heated family argument, I always try to lower the tensions by offering to show people the new firearm I just bought. Works like a charm, every time.
So the gun discharged itself? I thought the whole point was that people killed people, not buns by themselves.
