Trump was talking about Washington, D.C. fountain and reflecting-pool renovations when the sentence wandered off and came back carrying a snow globe. “We have 22 waterfalls,” he said, adding that most had not worked for more than 50 years. This is how infrastructure sounds when filtered through a hotel lobby.
