Federal Judge to Trump: GTFO Los Angeles
The Trump Administration has been ordered to remove the last of its illegal deployment of the National Guard from Los Angeles. Governor Gavin Newsom is doing a little dance while the Orange Menace has a week to appeal.
A federal judge ordered the Trump administration on Wednesday to immediately end its current deployment of California National Guard troops in Los Angeles, ruling that the federal government had illegally kept them in the city long after intense street protests had ended in the summer.
The ruling by Judge Charles R. Breyer of the Federal District Court in San Francisco applies to about 100 National Guard soldiers who remain in Los Angeles six months after protests erupted over immigration raids.

“The Founders designed our government to be a system of checks and balances,” Judge Breyer wrote in his decision. “Defendants, however, make clear that the only check they want is a blank one.”
At a time when there was no reason to deploy troops into Los Angeles, Donald Trump wanted to show he could. Turns out, after a long legal fight, and Humvees defecated in by the troops, Donnie has little time left to appeal or give up.
Nothing is over until the Trump administration decides it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! We've got to take these bastards! Now we could do it with conventional Police, but that could take years and cost millions of dollars. No, I think we have to go all out! I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on the Federal Governments part! We've got to leave the National Guard troops in Los Angeles or the Californians won't think we're serious!
