If nothing else, I respect a long-running franchise that knows what it is. The Evil Dead film series has always been not-particularly-good campy horror for those who are interested in vibes above all else, even as it’s expanded into a multimedia franchise encompassing TV shows, video games, and, briefly, a stage musical.
