EU court rules same-sex marriages must be recognized across union
The European Union’s Court of Justice ruled Tuesday that Poland and other countries in the bloc must recognize same-sex marriages. Though Polish law does not allow marriage between people of the same sex, it is obligated by its membership of the union to respect those that take place elsewhere.
