This "documentary" has been proven as mis-represented bullshit.

It amazes me how burners are circling the wagons on this. Having watched the doc a month ago, a burner from dept of public works got annoyed about not being able to own the playa after the closure was lifted and led an effort to harass these documentarians who were now on public land. I hope @Franko hasn't bought into their BS.

i've been burning for almost 30 years. i've been there cleaning the playa in October. the things in this video are real, but they are selectively filmed and edited to maximize the appearance of the burn as a disaster. all the mess they show is in the first week after the burn. they never go back to show the BLM inspection in October, when months of cleanup has left the playa back to its state before the burn happened.

They are on site on oct 7 for the inspection

The myth that Burning Man leaves no trace deserves to be burnt next to daft punk at the trash fence.
