Colorado school sends unvaccinated students home as RFK Jr.’s anti-vaccine crusade pays off
Two measles cases at a Colorado high school have forced dozens of unvaccinated students to stay home for 21 days, the latest example of a disease once nearly eliminated in the U.S. returning as vaccination rates slip.
To stop the spread of measles, dozens of unvaccinated students at one Colorado high school are being told to not attend school and stay in quarantine for at least 21 days.
This comes after Broomfield High confirmed cases in two unvaccinated students. The state has now recorded three measles cases this year. That’s after recording 36 last year, which was the most the state had seen in years.
“This is a way to keep measles from becoming a huge outbreak, in our schools, in our metro area, in our counties, and in our state,” said Dr. Ned Calonge, the state’s chief medical officer. “This is very contagious.”
Turns out when you spend years spreading fear about vaccines, measles eventually shows up to prove you right… just not in the way RFK Jr. meant.

I hope those kids get bored enough that they sneak off and get vaccinated behind their parent’s backs. But they will probably enjoy their break, since I’m sure no-one will be checking on the, to ensure they stay home in quarantine.
