Caught trashing her fellow cronies, Wiles claims she was taken out of context by a tape recording
Trump’s White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, an architect of his 2024 win and current king rat of the MAGAverse, is frantically walking back her own words after a tape surfaced of her calling JD Vance a conspiracy theorist, describing Elon Musk as a ketamine-using office squatter, and labeling Trump as someone with “an alcoholic’s personality.” She now claims she was taken out of context. The context? A recorded interview.
Over the course of nearly a dozen interviews with Vanity Fair, Wiles talked about a wide range of issues, including handling of Epstein files, Trump’s legal actions against political rivals, and also about personalities around the president.
She admitted that “there may be an element of” retribution in Trump’s efforts to pursue criminal cases against political adversaries or perceived foes.
“I don’t think he wakes up thinking about retribution,” she added. “But when there’s an opportunity, he will go for it.”
Wiles is widely considered among the most powerful members of the Trump White House in his second term.
Wiles demands her extended sit-downs with Vanity Fair were “framed disingenuously” and meant to create a “chaotic” image of the Trump administration, which, to be fair, did not need help on that front. But author Chris Whipple has audio recordings where Wiles paints a picture of an administration driven by vengeance, paranoia, and Elon Musk’s sleep-deprived ketamine brain. Perhaps this is Wiles’ escape plan: insult everyone, and get welcomed off the sinking ship.

If she really wanted to be accurate she would have used the phrase “narcissistic alcoholic personality”. I think this is all staged to distract from all of the other despicable things that the White House is doing these days.
