Breaking bad, but Walter’s hat keeps getting bigger

It would be just like disgruntled, egotistical chemistry teacher Walter White to think a pork pie hat, of all things, makes him look badass. His descent into villainy, or, as some would argue, his acceptance of the villainy present in him is masterfully charted over the course of Breaking Bad, carried by strong writing and an even stronger performance from former sitcom dad Bryan Cranston.

What if that was just too subtle for some viewers, though? What if Walter’s growing ego needed to be communicated a little more… visually?
