Looking for slack from voters pissed off about grocery prices, the Orange Menace is taking another swing at lowering prices. This time by "flooding the market with government-subsidized, below-market beef."
For a guy who loves capitalism and decries everyone he doesn't like as a crazy socialist, Diaper Don sure likes socializing stuff. Mr. Illegal Tariffs heroically said he'll eliminate some tariffs on cheap imported beef, immediately sending the National Cattlemen's Beef Association into conniption fits.
Apparently the road to rebuilding the American cattle industry involves a shady side deal to pass 300,000 metric tons of somebody else's cheap ground beef on to the US consumer.
Oh, and of course blame Biden.
