Accused thief yet to excrete $19k Faberge egg he swallowed
A 32-year-old man in New Zealand was charged with theft after allegedly swallowing a tiny egg pendant crafted by famed Russian jeweller Fabergé (previously at Boing Boing). The BBC reports that the item has yet to emerge. Arrested immediately after the incident, he will remain in custody until it does.
