More shades of Nazi Germany from the Department of Homeland Security, this time of the “benefit from reporting on your neighbors” sort.
While the Orange Menace does backflips trying to make excuses for his extremely disliked goon Kristi Noem, the Department of Homeland Security is doing all it can to remain unpopular. Offering up the homes of the deported to snitches, DHS is really leaning into a losing PR strategy.
Homeland Security took to X ahead of the weekend, writing, “Want affordable housing? Help report illegal aliens in your area. Call 866-DHS-2-ICE.”
The post added, “If you are an illegal alien, you can take control of your departure using http://DHS.GOV/CBPHOME.”
The post caused a lot of outrage.
Immigration expert Aaron Reichlin-Melnick said, “’Report your neighbors for purging and then take you can take their houses’ is an official government message of the Trump admin.”
