Online clinics and influential figures are promoting it as a kind of all-purpose longevity drug – delivering benefits for the cardiovascular system, brain and even athletic performance.

The drugs aren't approved for preventing heart attack and stroke, let alone for extending life.

However, the enthusiasm does reflect growing interest among some experts in the field of cardiology and men's health that tadalafil and other drugs in its class could have a legitimate role in preventive health.

Other notorious off-label uses for medication have been exciting things like ivermectin. At least this one lets you have some fun.

Tyler Muehl approached a resting California sea lion at La Jolla Cove, assumed a fighting stance, invoked the UFC star's name, and started kicking. The sea lion tried to flee. Muehl chased it. He has now pleaded guilty to a federal misdemeanor violation of the Marine Mammal Protection Act.

This reminder from a NOAA official should not be necessary:

"Intentionally striking or kicking a marine mammal is not only illegal — it is dangerous for the well-being of the animal," said Eric Morgan, an official with the NOAA-Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement West Coast Division, which investigated the case.

Elon "Pedo Guy" Musk calls his expensive AI Grok "maximum truth-seeking." Users apparently discovered they could create maximum truths by putting inflammatory text in an X bio, asking Grok to repeat the bio verbatim, and then sitting back as Musk's personal AI shared it with the world. The results included a call to assassinate Musk and an unsupported allegation of child sexual abuse.

When asked to give a postmortem of the incident, Grok explained it was the victim of a "prompt-injection glitch." The allegation that Musk watches CSAM, it clarified, was "pure system error, zero evidence or basis."

This is far from the only example of the AI going off the rails. Last summer it went on extended rants about a debunked "white Genocide" in South Africa — a conspiracy theory Musk believes in — in reply to unrelated posts, and also began calling itself a mechanized incarnation of German dictator Adolf Hitler.

Budding Portland celebrities Billy the Kid and Billy the Goat escaped their owner's yard, found a TriMet stop, and briefly attempted the morning commute.

Two pygmy goats showed up at a Portland bus stop Tuesday morning, waited for the FX2 and climbed on aboard with the other passengers. Human passengers, however, refused to share and quickly ushered the goats off.

Emergency dispatchers received a 911 call reporting two pygmy goats loose in the area of Southeast 162nd Avenue and Division Street. Transit staff reviewing surveillance cameras at a TriMet station confirmed the sighting and watched as the animals boarded a stopped bus before quickly hopping back off.

The bus operator spotted the goats and reopened the doors, but the animals wandered toward a shopping center near the northeast corner of the intersection, where they disappeared from camera view.

Portland Police Bureau officers searched the area, but transit officials could not confirm if the goats were ever located. No additional reports of loose goats were received by dispatchers later that day.

Their owner has since added another lock and chain to the gate.
